On my machine when Note starts, it shows the yellow splash window, then it shows the login window, and then there are two alternatives.
If I immediately enter the password on my ID and hit ENTER, it shows a progress bar, after some time it shows the workspace, and then hangs.
But if I wait a few seconds (on my dual core 2 GHz 2 GB RAM machine with a full startup folder, it takes maybe 15 seconds, but when I had something running in the background it took even half a minute, so be patient), the workspace window shows up behind the login window (if you're unlucky, it shows up in front of it, and you have to ALT-TAB to dring the login window to the foreground - happened to me when I switched desktops - amont other PC-choking stuff I have multiple destops on Windows). If you enter the password and click OK after the workspace is already visible, the client doesn't hang anymore.
Can anybody reproduce this?
And BTW, I cannot use the fixpack which was just released. It tells me it expects a different version of Notes 8.0.2 than the one I have installed. Stupid me or stupid Notes?
